Looking forward to finally firing this latest portrait I created in Liz Hunt's Fall '21 Figure Sculpting Class at SFCC. I opted for a thorough drying out period over the long holiday break. It's a portrait of a fellow artist and classmate, the brilliant Steve Dunlap, who recently retired from a distinguished career in medicine in Santa Fe and is now focusing on his own creative interests full time. I don't believe Steve is on social media, but he is a terrific sculptor. If you didn't already know, Santa Fe Community College's art departments, staff and facilities, are all incredible!
